Kakola, named after a legendary prison in Turku, Finland, is a collaboration between Turku City Theatre and Linnateatteri. The premier will be in February 2012. The soundtrack of the musical consists of Finnish rocksongs. Kakola is written by Satu Rasila and directed by Mikko Kouki with Jussi Vahvaselkä as musical director and Reija Wäre as coreographer. The two leads are performed by Veeti Kallio and Reeta Vestman.

Reeta graduated on the 30th of June 2011 from the Royal Academy of Music. She now holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Musical Theatre and also a Musical Theatre Teacher Diploma, Licentiate of Royal Academy of Music.

Reeta just started her third and final term at the Royal Academ of Music, where she is completing the Post Graduate Diploma in Musical Theatre. She is about to graduate on the 1st of July. At the same time she will receive the Musical Theatre Teacher Diploma (LRAM). The long days at school have been consisting of acting, dancing, singing, voice, actor's movement, text and accent work as well as projects and musicals. Reeta has taken part in Masterclasses by Jason Robert Brown, Kim Criswell, Bobby Cronin, Tracie Bennett and Dan Stevens. She has also participated in the New Mercury Musical Workshop with Jeni Toksvig and performed for Stephen Sondheim.
